I am Kevin Anderson. My lovely wife Laurel and I are founders of Cognigen Communications Corporation. We are proud to have BestTel Communications as our independent representative.

In 1992, I was bored. After 30 years programming computers, I was a high priced wage slave, doing I job I had not enjoyed very much in at least five years. Two years earlier, I had married Laurel, a talented life partner, who I hardly ever saw, because my work kept me downtown so much, 50 miles from our large hilltop home near San Diego. Practically since the day we met, Laurel and I had been home business enthusiasts, going through a series of small ventures, some more profitable than others, but nothing that REALLY had the potential to replace my six figure salary. Laurel has a degree in Psychology, and she is the ideal sounding board for me when I need help developing a marketing concept.

At that time, Laurel and I subscribed to a number of "get rich" magazines, which we had already determined to be full of worthless scams. We wanted something honest, extremely profitable, and it had to be a business we could build together, outside the traditional corporate environment. One day I saw an article in one of the "moneymaking" magazines about selling long distance phone services, and after discussion, Laurel and I decided to explore that idea a little further. Two days later we signed a contract with a long distance reseller, and we were on the bumpy road which led us to today.

Working as a team, Laurel and I found that selling long distance telephone service to businesses was not difficult. I had a lot of contacts in the computer industry, and we soon closed a huge deal with a company with which I had a long-standing relationship. Our carrier at the time was Cyberlink. Our carrier was not able to provide the promised service to our big client. We ended up losing the big deal, and, as a consolation prize, Cyberlink offered me a job as their VP/Marketing. Laurel and I KNEW our future was in telecom. I did NOT want to again be an employee; but, what better way to learn about our new chosen family business, from the inside? I took the job; and I learned this business; later quitting to again resume operation of our company, Cognigen Communications Corporation.

I was a user of the Internet before it was called "Internet", as a user of the Arpanet. I watched with interest in the early 1990s, as the new idea developed at CERN for a worldwide web took shape. The http protocol was a marvelous technological innovation, allowing people to dispense information through "hyperlinks". By the time I left Cyberlink in 1995, it was obvious that Cognigen would be housed on the web; and NOBODY would have better control of the technology than Cognigen. In 1995, I invented and pioneered the concept of the "self replicating web page", which allowed me to build massive downline organizations very quickly in a number of telcom MLM (Multi Level Marketing) programs. At the same time, Cognigen had an agent force of more traditional non-MLM telecom marketing professionals; so I developed web sites to support the operations of our agents. We built Cognigen into a strong, profitable business; providing a good living for a number of our independent agents. We grew a good deal more successful than some of the telcom MLM programs we had earlier been active with.

Until September of 1998, I avoided building my own Telcom MLM company, because, frankly, rates and commissions were just not good enough to develop an MLM program which was fair to all, and which required no money from agents who joined. New tariffs have been introduced now, which has changed that; and we set out to build the world's best telcom MLM program.

Although we accept paper applications for some services, our primary thrust is online sign-up, for every service we offer. Because of the way we leverage internet technology, Cognigen is positioned to become a billion dollar company with fewer than ten employees.

We have employed a very simple compensation plan, which will reward hard work, and which is fair to beginners and experienced telcom agencies alike. We do not force you into a "matrix", and we pay you well for your own sales, at 6%, while we also pay a full six levels of 1% commissions on your downline agencies. If you directly sell significant total monthly billing, your direct commission can grow to as much as 10%. With our rates, our technology, online signup, and a full 12% total commission payout, you can build up a huge residual monthly Cognigen income in time, if you make a reasonable effort.
